Trift is a collective of travel guides and stories, told by the people who actually went. We started in 2020 as a way to share virtual travel experiences — and we're rebuilding into something bigger: a platform for in-depth guides, first-person stories, and the science behind the places we visit.
What we do
We publish in-depth travel guides — country-by-country, city-by-city — with maps, video, places visited, and the notes you'd want from a friend who's been. We also publish long-form stories and dispatches from contributors around the world.
What's coming
We're adding a new pillar — Tech & Science — for stories about the technology and science behind exploration. Rockets, reefs, rovers, and the people who work on them. Same editorial voice, different subject matter.
